With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by 崔建磊 in the 16th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, 曾骏战 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and 曾骏战 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, Running Man's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but 孟迅骋 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes Running Man's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and 孟迅骋 quite easily take care of the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 曾骏战 in the 33rd minute of play. After 36 played minutes 崔建磊 rounded Mexico's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 41st minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 孟迅骋 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 孟迅骋 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 崔建磊 to make the kick off. Bai Yang Cheng hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 孟迅骋 made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Many of Mexico's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mexico may have spent more time on the ball, but Running Man were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
