Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Henry Ritter took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Jonatan Chaime came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the GOMEZ F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Chaime couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when GOMEZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Criban Outon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute of the game Oscar Aceves made a throw-in which Javier Marzana played forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Jonatan Chaime managed to get in a good position for a shot. GOMEZ F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Chaime was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Ritter in the 24th minute of play. Santiago-Tomas Gentiletti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute Javier Marzana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Santiago-Tomas Gentiletti sent off a good shot on target. Silvain Labrouche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when GOMEZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Weather Manglano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, GOMEZ F.C.'s Henry Ritter dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute, Henry Ritter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GOMEZ F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 61 minutes into the match, Santiago-Tomas Gentiletti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santiago-Tomas Gentiletti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvain Labrouche prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Tomas Illescas put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Silvain Labrouche. In the 73rd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of GOMEZ F.C. booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Chaime in the 75th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Henry Ritter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GOMEZ F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 83rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Silvain Labrouche, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, GOMEZ F.C.'s Weather Manglano got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After taking down the ball on GOMEZ F.C.'s corner Jonatan Chaime fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GOMEZ F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
