Christof Deroek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christof Deroek made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. In the 11th minute, Cassius Byrne fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Christof Deroek, passed just outside the right post. Cassius Byrne struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Christof Deroek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. Monty Rogers succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 14th playminute. After 21 minutes of play, Selebi-Phikwe's Johnathan Bowden made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! Selebi-Phikwe's Christof Deroek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 23rd minute of play. Christof Deroek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 33rd minute of play forced Selebi-Phikwe's goalkeeper Christof Deroek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnathan Bowden in the 35th minute of play. If Abid Bubalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Johnathan Bowden came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of USA booed when Selebi-Phikwe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Quin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, USA's Cassius Byrne tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Johnathan Bowden blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. Selebi-Phikwe's Christof Deroek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 53rd minute of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Johnathan Bowden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selebi-Phikwe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnathan Bowden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 58th minute of play forced Selebi-Phikwe's goalkeeper Christof Deroek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johnathan Bowden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnathan Bowden in the 59th minute of the match. Edward Mcdonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christof Deroek having to interfere. Johnathan Bowden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 68th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christof Deroek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monty Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Selebi-Phikwe's Christof Deroek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Abid Bubalo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of USA's Marco Day. Marco Day was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. Selebi-Phikwe's Christof Deroek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Campbell in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Selebi-Phikwe's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jenson Smith was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on USA's corner Jenson Smith fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christof Deroek quite easily take care of the ball. Christof Deroek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Campbell in the 86th minute of the match. Christof Deroek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalid Parry in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Selebi-Phikwe's Victor Lundqvist got a free kick in the 90th minute. Christof Deroek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalid Parry, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Christof Deroek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Baker went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. USA fully deserved thier win.
