When Jonathan Venegas fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jonathan Venegas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. The referee gave Cougars FC a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Horia Păuceanu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. 1-0. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Mehat Kovaçi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Mehat Kovaçi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mehat Kovaçi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 20 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehat Kovaçi got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cougars FC's Angel Morales was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehat Kovaçi got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Mede came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Mehat Kovaçi took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. In the 37th minute of the game Guillermo Mariano made a throw-in which Tomas Illescas played forward. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Mehat Kovaçi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Mehat Kovaçi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Cougars FC's Mehat Kovaçi got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. After 56th play minutes Mehat Kovaçi shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. 59 minutes into the match, Mehat Kovaçi notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehat Kovaçi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehat Kovaçi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Mehat Kovaçi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehat Kovaçi in the 70th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehat Kovaçi in the 72nd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Mehat Kovaçi came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mehat Kovaçi struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cougars FC. Cougars FC's Steffen Gimlinge was substituted for Mehat Kovaçi. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Steffen Gimlinge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cougars FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Steffen Gimlinge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 80 played minutes Cougars FC got a freekick which was hit by Bianco Natale. In the 82nd minute, Steffen Gimlinge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. In the 87th minute, Steffen Gimlinge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. In the 90th minute Steffen Gimlinge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Steffen Gimlinge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steffen Gimlinge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steffen Gimlinge in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
