Zdzislaw Slazak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, STILON GORZÓW's Sebastian Major sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zdzislaw Slazak having to interfere. STILON GORZÓW's Zdzislaw Slazak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play. Zdzislaw Slazak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Major's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Zdzislaw Slazak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Sebastian Major took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Sebastian Major sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 44 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 48 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miguel Refugio who took care of the corner kick. STILON GORZÓW's Boleslaw Chowaniec was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wiktor Basaik made a kick off. The corner led STILON GORZÓW's Miguel Refugio to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Major, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. STILON GORZÓW's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Miguel Refugio in the 60th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Major, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zdzislaw Slazak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastian Major's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. When Boleslaw Chowaniec came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the STILON GORZÓW fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boleslaw Chowaniec couldn't finish the play. STILON GORZÓW made a substitution. Bernard Kosakowski replaced Sebastian Major. STILON GORZÓW's Waclaw Fiszer was substituted for Wiktor Basaik. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernard Kosakowski went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 78 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Waclaw Fiszer came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zdzislaw Slazak could save by the left post. In the 83rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. STILON GORZÓW's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 86 minutes into the match, STILON GORZÓW's Bernard Kosakowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Kosakowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 95th minute.
