Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andries De Putter in the 9th minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Ken vrolix heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Lei Bin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Lei Bin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lei Bin was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, AFC United's Jordi Scherz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A hard shot 24 in the game by Edward Huyghebaert from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. 30 minutes into the match, AFC United's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Lei Bin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Huyghebaert's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ken vrolix kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. AFC United's Ken vrolix quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Edward Huyghebaert came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the AFC United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Huyghebaert couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edward Huyghebaert to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Huyghebaert in the 52nd minute of play. Lei Bin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Andries De Putter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andries De Putter, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Lei Bin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 70 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC United the free kick. AFC United's Isa Savage was substituted for Edward Huyghebaert. AFC United's Faustino Asprilla was substituted for Andries De Putter. In the 72nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faustino Asprilla's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustino Asprilla in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute of the match AFC United got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jordi Scherz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Jordi Scherz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. 81 minutes into the match, AFC United's Faustino Asprilla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faustino Asprilla's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. It was a well-played corner which Isaac Fernandez managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.
