An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 31st minute of play forced Köse's goalkeeper Ruddi Stenskov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Abutnăriței, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruddi Stenskov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afşin Ahsen in the 66th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruddi Stenskov having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Urko in the 70th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Ruddi Stenskov in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruddi Stenskov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Illescas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 79 minute of play. Patricio Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruddi Stenskov having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Urko in the 94th minute of play. Köse were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
