Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Herbert Henskens kicked off to start the match. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Fernando Gamus sped through Peru's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eymen Kakisim, made in the 12th minute of the game. In the 14th minute Edelmiro Taurino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luz Tejedor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erasmo Loi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. The Apocalípticos & Caóticos fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Herbert Henskens looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edelmiro Taurino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Fernando Gamus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Gamus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erasmo Loi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match, Milagros Fraga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Erasmo Loi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Erasmo Loi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 39th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erasmo Loi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Herbert Henskens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Gamus in the 54th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Gamus in the 56th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Peru's Julian Murillo suffered a concussion after 74 minutes and had to leave the field. 74 minutes into the game, Patricio Emmanuel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 76th minute, Patricio Emmanuel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luz Tejedor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erasmo Loi having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 91st minute of play forced Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goalkeeper Erasmo Loi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Eymen Kakisim made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edelmiro Taurino got free with Rolando Noboa in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peru's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
