Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 3rd minute of play forced Dinamo Soimu's goalkeeper Horia Poplăcean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Horia Poplăcean in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xanti Gatnau in the 11th minute of the match. Dinamo Soimu's Horia Poplăcean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Agustín Saelices made a precise shot to the right of Horia Poplăcean. Dinamo Soimu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horia Poplăcean didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Dinamo Soimu's Virgil Pintilie got a free kick in the 25th minute. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Horia Poplăcean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdinand Ipate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horia Poplăcean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when August Kungla came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44thth minute of the game Felix Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dinamo Soimu's Horia Poplăcean was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horia Poplăcean. Dinamo Soimu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xanti Gatnau to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Dinamo Soimu's goalkeeper Horia Poplăcean had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Horia Poplăcean in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dinamo Soimu's Horia Poplăcean proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Dinamo Soimu from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Dinamo Soimu defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horia Poplăcean. The Dinamo Soimu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horia Poplăcean should have stopped the shot. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 61st minute. 65 minutes into the match, Dinamo Soimu's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Horia Poplăcean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinamo Soimu's Cazimir Nițu was substituted for Virgil Pintilie. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Horia Poplăcean could save by the left post. In the 73rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 minutes Dinamo Soimu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dinamo Soimu's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dinamo Soimu throughout the match.
