Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Eduard Semeghin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rosendo Seguinus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Seguinus having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Semeghin in the 7th minute of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Zgrăbunţa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rosendo Seguinus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Rosendo Seguinus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustín Saelices in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rosendo Seguinus saved ASF BAIA MARE -MM- from getting behind. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Aron Zgrăbunţa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Remus Vermeşan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Remus Vermeşan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 2-1 after 31 minutes of play. In the 36th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Seguinus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Semeghin came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. A collision led to ASF BAIA MARE -MM- getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Eric Ţirpescu hit a great ball. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Rosendo Seguinus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Andino's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciprian Sângeorzan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to ASF BAIA MARE -MM- getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Eric Ţirpescu hit a great ball. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rosendo Seguinus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Huștiu kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. If Remus Vermeşan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Zgrăbunţa in the 71st minute of the match. In the 71st minute Aron Zgrăbunţa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosendo Seguinus made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Luis Andino made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Rosendo Seguinus managed to reach the ball for a save. If Felix Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th match minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Petru to maneuver through the defense. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Fetanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Zgrăbunţa in the 81st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Felix Montes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rosendo Seguinus quite easily take care of the ball. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rosendo Seguinus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 92nd minute of play forced ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Rosendo Seguinus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 played minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Petru. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, ASF BAIA MARE -MM- could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
