An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of play forced HİSARCİK ERCiYES FC's goalkeeper Virgilio Manriquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgilio Manriquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play. Virgilio Manriquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Montrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, HİSARCİK ERCiYES FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Virgilio Manriquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. HİSARCİK ERCiYES FC's Virgilio Manriquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 30th minute of play. Virgilio Manriquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Manriquez saved HİSARCİK ERCiYES FC from getting behind. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ubaldo Montrel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Virgilio Manriquez in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Virgilio Manriquez. That made the score 0-4 in the 69 minute of play. Virgilio Manriquez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Virgilio Manriquez. That made the score 0-6 in the 76 minute of play. Virgilio Manriquez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 79 minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Manriquez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than HİSARCİK ERCiYES FC.
