After 16 minutes Club Atlético Ramadita's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Lautaro Mancebo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gavino Afonso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 22 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mercado Paulista who took care of the corner kick. Eriberto Rexino hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Allan Åström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Ramadita's Eriberto Rexino got a free kick in the 27th minute. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Club Atlético Ramadita's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Gavino Afonso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paulo Cruz in the 35th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gavino Afonso could save by the left post. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Ramadita's Allan Åström. But to his dismay, Allan Åström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The Mexico players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atlético Ramadita were winning 0-1.

Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Paulo Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute of the match Club Atlético Ramadita got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mercado Paulista ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Club Atlético Ramadita's Luís Paulo Cruz getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Gavino Afonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 59th minute of play. Gavino Afonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of Mexico booed when Club Atlético Ramadita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gábor Szűcs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atlético Ramadita's Efrain Felo was substituted for Robustiano Ioritz. A collision led to Club Atlético Ramadita getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Gábor Szűcs hit a great ball. In the 69thth minute of the game Lautaro Mancebo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Ramadita's Gavino Afonso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luís Paulo Cruz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dante Lacasa came out and tried to block the shot, but Luís Paulo Cruz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Club Atlético Ramadita getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Mercado Paulista hit a great ball. Club Atlético Ramadita's Gustavo Heriberto was substituted for Allan Åström. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Ramadita's Mercado Paulista got a free kick in the 76th minute. Club Atlético Ramadita's Luís Paulo Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gavino Afonso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute Gustavo Heriberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
