Danial McDermott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danial McDermott read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 石博震 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. 石博震 kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Danial McDermott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danial McDermott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Chisholm Rookie getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. 石博震 hit a great ball. Danial McDermott stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Saelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A nice corner shot did that Jackson Caballero got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 33 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Connor Christie came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chisholm Rookie's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jackson Caballero in the 35th minute. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Connor Christie in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute of the match Chisholm Rookie got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jackson Caballero ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by 石博震 in the 42nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Connor Christie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Adolfo Dorsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Connor Christie to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 60 minutes, Connor Christie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chisholm Rookie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Connor Christie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Danial McDermott made a huge save. Chisholm Rookie's Danial McDermott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 83rd minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Dorsey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Dorsey in the 95th minute of the match. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chisholm Rookie throughout the match.
