Richard Silver was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Richard Silver stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richard Silver was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Silver saved Blue Rock F.C. from getting behind. After having played for 24 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Panama's Tomas Berganza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richard Silver narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27th match minute, Blue Rock F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Stroud to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Silver having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Alex Cambeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Panama booed when Blue Rock F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duncan Thomason didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Silver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Silver stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. The Blue Rock F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Panama were winning 0-1.

When Aaron Barrios fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Aaron Barrios a yellow card for diving instead. Aaron Barrios hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Richard Silver was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Berganza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 58 minute of play. Fletcher Pritchett's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fletcher Pritchett helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st match minute, Blue Rock F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fletcher Pritchett to maneuver through the defense. Richard Silver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josh Kemp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. Josh Kemp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Cotilla having to make a save. In the 87th match minute, Blue Rock F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josh Kemp to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fletcher Pritchett in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Richard Silver made a huge save. The Blue Rock F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Panama's performance. The match ended with a win for Panama.
