With his leg Józef Mlynarczyk managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Colombia's Axel Montenegro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Józef Mlynarczyk in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes in the game Romulo Brun did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Östen Stor. Romulo Brun kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Deportivo Pucho's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Axel Montenegro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Józef Mlynarczyk quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
