Hög Svans Föring's Douglas Duset got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 7 minutes, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Tasis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hög Svans Föring's Filiph Duset got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Ove Svanström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Ove Svanström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stancho Chapanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Lautaro Puig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stancho Chapanov. Hög Svans Föring's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Puig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Stancho Chapanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Ove Svanström took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Stancho Chapanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stancho Chapanov having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Douglas Duset stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hög Svans Föring's Douglas Duset got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stancho Chapanov saved Hög Svans Föring from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 66th minute of play forced Hög Svans Föring's goalkeeper Stancho Chapanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stancho Chapanov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Stancho Chapanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stancho Chapanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Hög Svans Föring was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Ivarsson to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Hög Svans Föring getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Kurt Ivarsson hit a great ball.
