The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When 邱榕轩 fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ☪TURKISH COWBOYS☪'s protests and gave 邱榕轩 a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Costa Rica a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Axel Tasis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ☪TURKISH COWBOYS☪'s Adem Tokel. 0-1. In the 12thth minute of the game Axel Tasis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ☪TURKISH COWBOYS☪'s Adem Tokel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 16 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adem Tokel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 21 minutes into the game, Tuncay Ersalmış was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ☪TURKISH COWBOYS☪'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. In the 21st minute, Tuncay Ersalmış hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Adem Tokel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Genco Bahçeli's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benito Sanz firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Mehmet Bilge Bilek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. In the 35th minute, ☪TURKISH COWBOYS☪'s Arif Burak Batır ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The supporters of ☪TURKISH COWBOYS☪ booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ☪TURKISH COWBOYS☪'s zone, Lautaro Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adem Tokel came out of the goal and Lautaro Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Aaron Alcocer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the ☪TURKISH COWBOYS☪ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute of the match Arif Burak Batır shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Akay Erem came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Tasis struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Adem Tokel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. A collision led to ☪TURKISH COWBOYS☪ getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Genco Bahçeli hit a great ball. Axel Tasis scored 2-3 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adem Tokel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ☪TURKISH COWBOYS☪'s Adem Tokel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save ☪TURKISH COWBOYS☪ from getting a goal against them. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adem Kadıoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 92 minutes, Eliseo Noboa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the ☪TURKISH COWBOYS☪ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Burak Batır in the 94th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Costa Rica walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
