But to his dismay, Teófilo Estrela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Altamora FC's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Liher came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Altamora FC defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiburcio Liher. The Altamora FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiburcio Liher should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Altamora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Carballar came free, but Tiburcio Liher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Liher was left in no man's land by his defense there! 33 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiburcio Liher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiburcio Liher. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 39th minute of play forced Altamora FC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Liher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Célio Leite in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Altamora FC's Teófilo Estrela got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Teófilo Estrela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 played minutes Altamora FC got a freekick which was hit by Higino lago. 65 minutes into the match, Altamora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Tiburcio Liher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altamora FC's Tiburcio Liher was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Altamora FC's Tiburcio Liher got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tiburcio Liher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Carballar in the 80th minute of the match. Francisco Carballar struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Tiburcio Liher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. 85 minutes into the match, Célio Leite notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chile eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
