Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. João Paulista came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. With a little luck, River Gold's João Paulista got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 10th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Zorita during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. João Paulista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by River Gold's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 17th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but João Paulista was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Cordarius in the 19th minute of play. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. João Paulista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 22 minutes in the game, Cristian Sancho fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without João Paulista having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartlomiej Lichniak in the 24th minute of play. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, River Gold's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but João Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. River Gold's João Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, River Gold's goalkeeper João Paulista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. River Gold's João Paulista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save River Gold from getting a goal against them. Reynaldo Leocadio kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, River Gold was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Leocadio to maneuver through the defense. After 46 minutes River Gold's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 48 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. In the 49th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartlomiej Lichniak in the 50th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Timoteo Jerrold got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bartlomiej Lichniak was the one to do the kick off. If Bartlomiej Lichniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartlomiej Lichniak in the 57th minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, River Gold's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but João Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of João Paulista. River Gold's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. João Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 78th minute of play forced River Gold's goalkeeper João Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 85 played minutes River Gold got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Abella. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Paulista having to make a save. João Paulista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when River Gold was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Vázquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ecuador fully deserved thier win.
