Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zuhejr Selaković took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Šećer Demirović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the game, Manchester United's Šećer Demirović nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 11 minutes into the game, Axel Tasis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Said Franković was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Šećer Demirović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliks Bugarin in the 24th minute. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Šećer Demirović tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Zuhejr Selaković came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Manchester United getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Adis Dugić hit a great ball. Lautaro Puig struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Said Franković didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. 37 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Zuhejr Selaković came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Axel Tasis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester United the free kick. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Axel Tasis hit a great ball. Zuhejr Selaković recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zuhejr Selaković, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 42 minutes, Alan Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Manchester United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Nebojša Krajišnik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Noboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Said Franković breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Šećer Demirović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Zuhejr Selaković's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Šećer Demirović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Axel Tasis struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Said Franković didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Said Franković tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Zuhejr Selaković managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zuhejr Selaković was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77thth minute of the game Nebojša Krajišnik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nebojša Krajišnik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Zuhejr Selaković hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 played minutes, Manchester United's Zuhejr Selaković shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Manchester United reached it. Adis Dugić charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adis Dugić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Manchester United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
