Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Wild Bunch's goalkeeper Henrik Belkå, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 5th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. The Wild Bunch's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. 9 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of The Wild Bunch's Henrik Belkå. Henrik Belkå was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvar Sellberg in the 13th minute of the match. Julio Vera was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Alvar Sellberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alvar Sellberg really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Henrik Belkå made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, The Wild Bunch's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Henrik Belkå reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in The Wild Bunch's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrik Belkå came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrik Belkå showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of The Wild Bunch's Henrik Belkå. Henrik Belkå was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 38 minutes into the match, The Wild Bunch's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Henrik Belkå reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of play forced The Wild Bunch's goalkeeper Henrik Belkå to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 played minutes The Wild Bunch got a freekick which was hit by Alvar Sellberg. The Wild Bunch's Henrik Belkå played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Henrik Belkå showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 88th minute, Felix Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrik Belkå was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Henrik Belkå successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
