Kleanthis Savouridis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 14th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kleanthis Savouridis saved REMALIA from getting behind. In the 21stth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but REMALIA's Kleanthis Savouridis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, REMALIA's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Kleanthis Savouridis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viktoras Giannikakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Kleanthis Savouridis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After 37 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kleanthis Savouridis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the last second Jonathan Ferrant throw himself and got hold of the ball when Nontas Asimopoulos in the 41stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Panos Pitsikoulakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thodoris Vrotsos to strike the kick off in the second half. Kleanthis Savouridis was a little too slow when Tomas Illescas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 58th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 played minutes, REMALIA's Panos Pitsikoulakis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in REMALIA reached it. 82 minutes in the game, Patricio Costa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kleanthis Savouridis having to interfere. Tomas Illescas scored 1-3 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kleanthis Savouridis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Kleanthis Savouridis made a huge save. In the 95th minute, Nontas Asimopoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3.
