Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Claudio Patricelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudio Patricelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Claudio Patricelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Balla 1926 fc's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Claudio Patricelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geirhvatur Ómarsson to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Claudio Patricelli in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radoslaw Debowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Claudio Patricelli however easily saved by the left post. In the 59th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudio Patricelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. After 63 played minutes Balla 1926 fc got a freekick which was hit by Radoslaw Debowski. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claudio Patricelli. That made the score 0-3 after 66 minutes of play. 68 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Balla 1926 fc's Claudio Patricelli. Claudio Patricelli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 78 minutes into the match, Balla 1926 fc's goalkeeper Claudio Patricelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 80th minute of the match, Felix Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Claudio Patricelli was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 81st minute, Carter Vanni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Luis Andino in the 82nd minute really tested Claudio Patricelli's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 88th minute, Daniel Zorita fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Claudio Patricelli, passed just outside the right post. 90 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudio Patricelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Balla 1926 fc throughout the match.
