Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Oskar Törnblom tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's Leon Craandijk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute Ksawery Gongola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ksawery Gongola scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ksawery Gongola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 minutes, Izaak Spijker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FFC Merainies 03 and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FFC Merainies 03 getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ksawery Gongola hit a great ball. After 43 played minutes FFC Merainies 03 got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Törnblom. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 3-0 became the score in the 46th minute when Oskar Törnblom elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oskar Törnblom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to FFC Merainies 03 getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Angelo Renzi hit a great ball. FFC Merainies 03's Leon Craandijk got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oskar Törnblom scored 4-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute Leon Craandijk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Craandijk in the 69th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Leon Craandijk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 72 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ksawery Gongola's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute of the match FFC Merainies 03 got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabio Botello ran over to the corner to take the kick. FFC Merainies 03's Fabio Botello was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 78 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, Oskar Törnblom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FFC Merainies 03 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Törnblom in the 93rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
