Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montes to fire away a dangerous shot which Uğuralp Vasfi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Uğuralp Vasfi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spas Spitzmüller in the 25th minute of play. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uğuralp Vasfi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Spas Spitzmüller in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Spas Spitzmüller tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.C Barak's goalkeeper Uğuralp Vasfi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vidal Domingo's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Uğuralp Vasfi made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Spas Spitzmüller in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 70 played minutes A.C Barak got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Harun Atacan. Felix Montes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Uğuralp Vasfi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Maura Icardi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Uğuralp Vasfi made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Spas Spitzmüller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Maura Icardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 played minutes A.C Barak got a freekick which was hit by Gu Yin. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but A.C Barak were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
