Walter Giardino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Alexis Alexandris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. After having played for 6 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telis Ntasios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. José Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurence Snow in the 17th minute of play. Julian Murillo scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Sá, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute, Luz Tejedor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 27th minute of play forced tHe SOnS of rAGnar's goalkeeper José Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Sá was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 34th minute of the game Karl-Åke Norling made a throw-in which Alexis Alexandris played forward. 38 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Sá made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Julian Murillo scored 0-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Sá, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walter Giardino was the one to do the kick off. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Giardino in the 57th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Telis Ntasios came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Efraim Gilabert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Benjamin Mikolas was substituted for Telis Ntasios. The supporters of tHe SOnS of rAGnar booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efraim Gilabert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fiz Biembengén made in the 66th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Benjamin Mikolas however managed to control. 70 minutes into the game, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Walter Giardino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind tHe SOnS of rAGnar's goalkeeper José Sá, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 80thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but tHe SOnS of rAGnar's José Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. José Sá was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Julian Murillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julian Murillo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. In the 87th minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 90th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Walter Giardino. But to his dismay, Walter Giardino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. José Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 95th minute of play.
