Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Fredrik Wennerquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kälvesta IOF's supporters rose to their feet, but Fredrik Wennerquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Klas Samuelsson took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 16 minutes, Klas Samuelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kälvesta IOF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klas Samuelsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zsolt Várdai, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Kälvesta IOF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torgny Söderman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute Klas Samuelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Klas Samuelsson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gheorghe Muntian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kjell Ros made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. After 38 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Muntian in the 39th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gheorghe Muntian in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. 46 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Klas Samuelsson came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the game, Torgny Söderman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kälvesta IOF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Klas Samuelsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 58 minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Kälvesta IOF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Venezuela:s goal. The referee gave Venezuela a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomas Illescas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kälvesta IOF's Kjell Ros. 1-3. A throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game was made by Torgny Söderman with Zsolt Várdai as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 73 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Zsolt Várdai came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Kälvesta IOF's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Correa came free, but Kjell Ros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gheorghe Muntian's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. 88 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zsolt Várdai. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Günther Haslbeck in the 93rd minute of play.
