Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ambrosio Guerau started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of play forced The Power Rangers's goalkeeper Pete Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in The Power Rangers's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pete Schmeichel came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Rico came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pete Schmeichel came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 16th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Montes's late challenge caught a The Power Rangers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Montes helped the player get up and apologised. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Pete Schmeichel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pete Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pete Schmeichel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Pete Schmeichel. The Power Rangers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 31 minutes, Silverio Gaskon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Power Rangers and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pete Schmeichel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 68th minute. A nice corner shot did that Luis Andino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pete Schmeichel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to The Power Rangers getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Victor Hugo Morales hit a great ball. Agustín Saelices struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Pete Schmeichel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Pete Schmeichel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 85th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Pete Schmeichel. The Power Rangers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than The Power Rangers.
