Eleuterio Maureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Mees in the 6th minute of the match. Pedalas Peca kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, FC Henter Somosd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnd Schade to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Frank Mees shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Maureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16thth minute of the game Frank Mees who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River de Ramos Mejía's Eleuterio Maureo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonzalo Bergessio got free with Gábor Király in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th match minute, River de Ramos Mejía was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Metodi Dutzov to maneuver through the defense. Eleuterio Maureo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Mees, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Frank Mees had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eleuterio Maureo. River de Ramos Mejía's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Mees was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 30th match minute, River de Ramos Mejía was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mădălin Holban to maneuver through the defense. River de Ramos Mejía's Eleuterio Maureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Mees in the 33rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Weets got free with Gábor Király in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eleuterio Maureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Mees in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute FC Henter Somosd were awarded a corner. Gerardo McMillan went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on FC Henter Somosd's corner Gerardo McMillan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eleuterio Maureo quite easily take care of the ball. Eleuterio Maureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Mees in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Mees stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Frank Mees managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Henter Somosd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Mees was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute Frank Mees shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Maureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedalas Peca hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 59 played minutes River de Ramos Mejía got a freekick which was hit by Pedalas Peca. Eleuterio Maureo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tamás Antal's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Eleuterio Maureo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 61st minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Frank Mees fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Maureo having to interfere. FC Henter Somosd's Bart van Goetsenhoven was substituted for Arnd Schade. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alejo Maties in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gábor Király prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Norberto Nayely hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Ulises Ugaitz got in the 77th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Eleuterio Maureo and thus it was 0-4. After some careless play in the River de Ramos Mejía defense, Frank Mees kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eleuterio Maureo. The River de Ramos Mejía fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eleuterio Maureo should have stopped the shot. Eleuterio Maureo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. Eleuterio Maureo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Ugaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind River de Ramos Mejía's goalkeeper Eleuterio Maureo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 88 in the game by Frank Mees from a close distance when the talented Eleuterio Maureo managed to make a qualified save. River de Ramos Mejía's players were relieved. Eleuterio Maureo was a little too slow when Frank Mees got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Ulises Ugaitz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eleuterio Maureo. That made the score 0-8 in the 95 minute of play. When the match was over FC Henter Somosd could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than River de Ramos Mejía throughout the match.
