Paul Grosso was slow to take the kick. During this time YELLOW FC's players had a chance to rest. Jan-Olof Kämpe was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evripidis Zoubadellis got free with Thiago Pliego in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan-Olof Kämpe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avraam Sevastopoulos in the 16th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, YELLOW FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Fontirroig came free, but Vaggelis Lalas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego had great luck who in the 25thth minute grab hold of the ball when Avraam Sevastopoulos from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The corner ended in Thanasis Robos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chile's Thiago Pliego did a great save. Vaggelis Lalas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lacasa to make the kick off. When Pavlos Kopitsis fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YELLOW FC's protests and gave Pavlos Kopitsis a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes YELLOW FC got a freekick which was hit by Pavlos Kopitsis. 57 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Avraam Sevastopoulos came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaggelis Lalas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vaggelis Lalas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vaggelis Lalas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thanasis Robos, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Avraam Sevastopoulos in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Vaggelis Lalas made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avraam Sevastopoulos in the 94th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
