Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julian Murillo kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, Luz Tejedor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lancelot Cambero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lancelot Cambero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 10th minute of play. The corner ended in Milagros Fraga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Itacaruaré's Lancelot Cambero did a great save. After 13 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lancelot Cambero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emilio Benitez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Lancelot Cambero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 20th minute of play. Fabricio Checa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 24thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itacaruaré's Lancelot Cambero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itacaruaré's goalie prevented a goal. After 25 minutes Itacaruaré's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emilio Benitez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emilio Benitez to strike the kick off in the second half. Itacaruaré's Lancelot Cambero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 52nd minute of play. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Lancelot Cambero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Itacaruaré's Lancelot Cambero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Itacaruaré from getting a goal against them. Emilio Benitez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Benitez came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Itacaruaré's Victor Qwinton got a free kick in the 64th minute. With a little luck, Itacaruaré's Lancelot Cambero got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 66th minute of play forced Itacaruaré's goalkeeper Lancelot Cambero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Checa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Victor Qwinton made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Julian Murillo took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Lancelot Cambero to make any attempt to save it. In the 91st minute of the match, Rafael Gallo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lancelot Cambero was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 93 minutes into the match, Itacaruaré's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Lancelot Cambero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru played a much better game than Itacaruaré and deserved their victory. The Itacaruaré players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
