Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Celtic de Sarda's Rick Brearley. Rick Brearley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 9th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rick Brearley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rick Brearley having to interfere. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Stamnes in the 13th minute. Rick Brearley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes Celtic de Sarda's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Celtic de Sarda's Rick Brearley managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 19thth minute of the game Lautaro Mancebo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Celtic de Sarda's Rick Brearley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th minute, Celtic de Sarda's Austin Mills ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Austin Mills in the 41st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rick Brearley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Austin Mills shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Jonathan Stamnes made the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Austin Mills, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Stamnes in the 53rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Austin Mills in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 63rd minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rick Brearley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Etoo in the 64th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Joel Gaona could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Rick Brearley however easily saved by the left post. In the 83rd match minute, Celtic de Sarda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bäşir Abudova to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rick Brearley firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Celtic de Sarda booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mexico players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Celtic de Sarda.
