Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Edu de Sousa sent off a good shot on target. 袁奕崇 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elia Di Ianni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Scott Bradbury had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edu de Sousa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 44 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elia Di Ianni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Scott Bradbury stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, El Expreso's Elia Di Ianni got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Elia Di Ianni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikhail Horoshevskiy in the 65th minute of play. After 66 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zhu Quan who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Zhu Quan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 70 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elia Di Ianni. Agustín Saelices showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. When El Expreso's Scott Bradbury in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Elia Di Ianni in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu de Sousa in the 81st minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Scott Bradbury came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zhu Quan who took care of the corner kick. El Expreso's Mikhail Horoshevskiy was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The El Expreso fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when El Expreso's Edu de Sousa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edu de Sousa took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2.
