The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee ignored Microsoft Team's protests and gave Cauã Vinhas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Club Dep. Union Madereros booed when Microsoft Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauã Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ismael Ourente came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Club Dep. Union Madereros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Ourente couldn't finish the play. When Club Dep. Union Madereros's Ismael Ourente in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dorian Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Jakue in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Hermengildo Jakue managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Dep. Union Madereros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Jakue was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Microsoft Team's Dorian Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Cuartio in the 43rd minute of play. After 45 played minutes Club Dep. Union Madereros got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Dimo. In the 48th match minute, Microsoft Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauã Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Microsoft Team's goalkeeper Dorian Catarinense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Club Dep. Union Madereros were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Hermengildo Jakue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorian Catarinense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ismael Ourente's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After 61 minutes, Ismael Ourente made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Microsoft Team's Dorian Catarinense tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hermengildo Jakue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Catarinense having to interfere. Club Dep. Union Madereros made a substitution. Placido Domingues replaced Hermengildo Jakue. Dorian Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Ourente in the 74th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Lúcio Arce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Microsoft Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Dep. Union Madereros the free kick. In the 78th match minute, Microsoft Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Arce to maneuver through the defense. Dorian Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Servando, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Dorian Catarinense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismael Ourente in the 93rd minute. Lúcio Arce hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
