Union Madereros's Dalmacio Jurgi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dorian Catarinense. Dorian Catarinense yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Hermengildo Jakue could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Dorian Catarinense made a huge save. After 20 minutes Microsoft Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Osvaldo Irrintzi who took care of the corner kick. Dorian Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Ourente in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Union Madereros's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fernando Ferraz came free, but Róbert Szepesvári reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ismael Ourente kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dorian Catarinense. That made the score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. Luiz Eduardo Netto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dalmacio Jurgi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Dorian Catarinense made a huge save. Ismael Ourente received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dorian Catarinense came out and tried to block the shot, but Ismael Ourente slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Ourente in the 44th minute of play forced Microsoft Team's goalkeeper Dorian Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ismael Ourente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dorian Catarinense was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Club Dep. Union Madereros made a substitution. Cornelio Servando replaced Hermengildo Jakue. Ismael Ourente took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorian Catarinense. Union Madereros protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Leonides Isidor had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Dorian Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Jurgi, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute.
