Minerul Baita -MM-'s Sergiu Cobâlcescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 8 minutes of play, Club Dep. Union Madereros's Ismael Ourente made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sergiu Cobâlcescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sergiu Cobâlcescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Ourente in the 13th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Cédric Payen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Róbert Szepesvári was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dudu Georgescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Róbert Szepesvári having to interfere. Dalmacio Jurgi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergiu Cobâlcescu having to make a save. When Club Dep. Union Madereros's Ismael Ourente in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalie prevented a goal. Sergiu Cobâlcescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Ourente in the 33rd minute of the match. Sergiu Cobâlcescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ismael Ourente's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 35th minute, Vintilă Puișoru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 played minutes, Club Dep. Union Madereros's Osvaldo Irrintzi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sergiu Cobâlcescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Dep. Union Madereros reached it. Hermengildo Jakue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute Codruț Podgoreanu suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Dalmacio Jurgi fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Dep. Union Madereros's protests and gave Dalmacio Jurgi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Club Dep. Union Madereros getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Dalmacio Jurgi hit a great ball. The supporters of Minerul Baita -MM- booed when Club Dep. Union Madereros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Jurgi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquilino Maldonado hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Róbert Szepesvári showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cédric Payen in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Club Dep. Union Madereros were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cédric Payen made a kick off. Dudu Georgescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Róbert Szepesvári tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 54th minute of the match Aquilino Maldonado completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aquilino Maldonado a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 55 played minutes Club Dep. Union Madereros got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Maldonado. Róbert Szepesvári showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cédric Payen in the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Dep. Union Madereros's goalkeeper Róbert Szepesvári, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cédric Payen took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Róbert Szepesvári. Róbert Szepesvári dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cédric Payen in the 62nd minute of play forced Club Dep. Union Madereros's goalkeeper Róbert Szepesvári to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Bogi Miner was substituted for Dudu Georgescu. Cornelio Colas charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornelio Colas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cornelio Colas kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Club Dep. Union Madereros's Carlos Walme was substituted for Domingo Manny. Róbert Szepesvári took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionică Şendrea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xalo Camara in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Róbert Szepesvári prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Róbert Szepesvári showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogi Miner in the 80th minute of the match. Club Dep. Union Madereros's Róbert Szepesvári played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogi Miner in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute Cédric Payen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Róbert Szepesvári saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 minutes of play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Xalo Camara made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sergiu Cobâlcescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Ourente, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Róbert Szepesvári made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cédric Payen in the 96th minute of play. Minerul Baita -MM- were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
