De Beverpatrouille's players were relieved. Barry Van Bever's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergiu Cobâlcescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Dudu Georgescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Garry Heijlen having to make a save. In the 17thth minute of the game Cédric Payen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Beverpatrouille's Garry Heijlen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cédric Payen in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cédric Payen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fredrik Van Bever during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Georgescu in the 57th minute of play forced De Beverpatrouille's goalkeeper Garry Heijlen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christoph Gebuers charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christoph Gebuers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sergiu Cobâlcescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoph Gebuers in the 75th minute of play. Fredrik Van Bever was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 77th minute, Fredrik Van Bever hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Minerul Baita -MM- made a substitution. Victor Lupeanu replaced Rudolf Magnusson. When Minerul Baita -MM-'s Ionică Şendrea in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Minerul Baita -MM- had played much better football throughout.
