After 22 played minutes Club Dep. Union Madereros got a freekick which was hit by Rene Vito. Luis Swain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danny Ings, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Ovidio Karmel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Max Washington having to make a save. Club Dep. Union Madereros made a substitution. Jaime Laurgain replaced Cornelio Colas. Sixto Janpier kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Max Washington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Karmel in the 67th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kev Bryant got free with Luis Swain in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 74 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Union Madereros's goal looked a bit too open when Orson Fuller came free, but Luis Swain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danny Ings could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Luis Swain made a huge save. Club Dep. Union Madereros's attentive Fabio Dimo managed to snatch the ball when Spike Pritchard made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game. Spike Pritchard's late challenge caught a Club Dep. Union Madereros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Spike Pritchard helped the player get up and apologised. Spike Pritchard kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Club Dep. Union Madereros got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Gumaro. The supporters of Elizabeth Three Lions FC booed when Club Dep. Union Madereros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Union Madereros fans cheered their team off the field, for while Elizabeth Three Lions FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
