The referee showed Alonso Quesada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Karhulan Veikot booed when Elizabeth Three Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonso Quesada didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Olen Homo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karhulan Veikot's supporters rose to their feet, but Olen Homo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Washington breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kaarle Tukio during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Karhulan Veikot getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Kaarle Tukio hit a great ball. Olen Homo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Max Washington read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Alan Butler hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Albert Knowles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elizabeth Three Lions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Knowles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tuomo Puikkonen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danny Ings got free with Tuomo Puikkonen in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Karhulan Veikot's Miska Pasanen got a free kick in the 20th minute. Alonso Quesada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Max Washington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olen Homo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goalkeeper Max Washington, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Karhulan Veikot's Tuomo Puikkonen got control of the ball when Danny Ings tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thomas Gamble hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Olen Homo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Max Washington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olen Homo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Danny Ings fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuomo Puikkonen having to interfere. Elizabeth Three Lions FC were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Karhulan Veikot's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alonso Quesada took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Alonso Quesada got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tuomo Puikkonen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Elizabeth Three Lions FC booed when Karhulan Veikot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaarle Tukio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Karhulan Veikot's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Danny Ings fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Karhulan Veikot! In the 48th minute, Alonso Quesada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elizabeth Three Lions FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olen Homo was the one to do the kick off. Max Washington was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Olen Homo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 56 minute of play. Olen Homo struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Max Washington didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karhulan Veikot. In the 60th match minute, Elizabeth Three Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kev Bryant to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Louis Lobb during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 64 played minutes Elizabeth Three Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Louis Lobb. 67 minutes into the match, Karhulan Veikot's Olen Homo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Max Washington narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Karhulan Veikot's Olen Homo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Max Washington. That made the score 1-2 after 68 minutes of play. A collision led to Elizabeth Three Lions FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Alonso Quesada hit a great ball. Max Washington stood somewhat misplaced when Olen Homo came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 75 minute. If Olen Homo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danny Ings sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miska Pasanen kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Olen Homo managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Karhulan Veikot players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
