But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hudson Andrade couldn't finish the play. Alan Butler's late challenge caught a C.R.FlaBrasília's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Butler helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Elizabeth Three Lions FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Alan Butler hit a great ball. In the 24th match minute, C.R.FlaBrasília was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmo Meireles to maneuver through the defense. Kev Bryant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Abel Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Gamble, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Jeff Burkinshaw in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C.R.FlaBrasília's Luiz Fernando Lara. Abel Torres came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Thomas Gamble. But to his dismay, Thomas Gamble quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 43 played minutes Alan Butler rounded C.R.FlaBrasília's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Abel Torres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albert Knowles's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danny Ings to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Danny Ings shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd minute Kev Bryant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orson Fuller, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Knowles in the 71st minute of play forced C.R.FlaBrasília's goalkeeper Abel Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Gamble in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Danny Ings made a precise shot to the right of Abel Torres. C.R.FlaBrasília's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Abel Torres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orson Fuller went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. When Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Danny Ings in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.R.FlaBrasília's goalie prevented a goal. Abel Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kev Bryant in the 89th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Elizabeth Three Lions FC fully deserved thier win.
