The corner ended in Gabríel Vassaras almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ponta da Praia FC's Gustavo Vides did a great save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manoel Zanette was the one to do the kick off. Gabríel Vassaras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gustavo Vides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Comunardo Cianci, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
