Camilo Honesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogerio Vilela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Las Momias F. C.'s Camilo Honesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zorion Oña in the 41st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zorion Oña in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Honesto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Haroldo Lleir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute Zorion Oña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Honesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zorion Oña who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Camilo Honesto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zorion Oña in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Camilo Honesto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zorion Oñas short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Camilo Honesto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Patricio Nesto hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Camilo Honesto came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Zorion Oña. But to his dismay, Zorion Oña quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With a little luck, Las Momias F. C.'s Camilo Honesto got control of the ball when Jacobo Ortzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cagua Vilarrubia kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. If Cristian Tarragon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 minutes of play, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Jacobo Ortzi made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Honesto was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match was over Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Las Momias F. C. throughout the match.
