Ubaldo Lluterio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Cícero de Castro struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. With a little luck, Barrenta SC's Edgar Trigo got control of the ball when Cícero de Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ubaldo Lluterio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ubaldo Lluterio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Barrenta SC's Paulo José Azevedo got a free kick in the 91st minute. Ubaldo Lluterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Barrenta SC had played much better football throughout.
