A hard shot 35 in the game by Eulalio Xabier from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Eulalio Xabier in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 43 minutes of play Venezuela's Jose Correa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwo Posadzki in the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Xabier came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eulalio Xabier in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. The throw-in from Rappo Rapado in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. The UÅ Mästerbotten fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when UÅ Mästerbotten's Iwo Posadzki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwo Posadzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of UÅ Mästerbotten booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball.
