Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Edmundo Espiga made the kick off and thus started the match. Honduras's Sebastian Villa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bogdan Neguțu, made in the 3rd minute of the game. Felix Hosu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. When Bogdan Neguțu fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nanov fc's protests and gave Bogdan Neguțu a yellow card for diving instead. Bogdan Neguțu hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th match minute, Nanov fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nae Tunar to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Nanov fc defense, Sebastian Villa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marin Luican. The Nanov fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marin Luican should have stopped the shot. Horea Lăzăroiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Hosu. After 30 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Moises Tafalla. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Gugulanu in the 33rd minute of play. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Gugulanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Horea Lăzăroiu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro. Horea Lăzăroiu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Costel Gugulanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costel Gugulanu in the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a free kick in the 60th minute. Costel Gugulanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Costel Gugulanu ran back to his position shaking his head. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Isac Nebunu in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Costel Gugulanu went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 77th minute of play forced Nanov fc's goalkeeper Marin Luican to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marin Luican was a little too slow when Edmundo Espiga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 2-3. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Marin Luican made a huge save. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Hosu, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Honduras's Moises Tafalla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marin Luican. That made the score 2-4 after 92 minutes of play. Honduras's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
