Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MLM's Bob Cazeneuve was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 3rd play minutes Tomas Illescas shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Bob Cazeneuve and just under the crossbar into goal. 7 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Quadros came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Quadros in the 8th minute of play. After 9 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Henrik Tidén who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Armando Alabern got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 14 minutes into the match, MLM's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Bob Cazeneuve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bob Cazeneuve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 17th minute of play. Bob Cazeneuve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MLM's Bob Cazeneuve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 21st minute of play. After 22 played minutes MLM got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Colillas. Tomás Quadros did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 24 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Quadros in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Flavio Colillas threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Bob Cazeneuve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Almir Carioca made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. MLM's Xavian Revuelta was substituted for Charro Alavedra. 44 minutes into the match, MLM's Almir Carioca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th minute Almir Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Quadros was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute Gartzea Vera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bob Cazeneuve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by MLM's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. Salvador Gisbert was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When MLM's Tomás Quadros in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomás Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes MLM got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Quadros. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Flavio Colillas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bob Cazeneuve read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Quadros went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Quadros in the 97th minute of play. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
