Ingar Myklebust was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bruno Beldad hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingar Myklebust saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes Galatasaray A.Ş. got a freekick which was hit by Süleyman Tanyeri. Ingar Myklebust showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 23rd match minute, Galatasaray A.Ş. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolis Piatas to maneuver through the defense. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. Ingar Myklebust showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 30th minute of the match. Galatasaray A.Ş.'s Ingar Myklebust played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute of the match, Hüsmen Ünlem tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joaquin Gayoso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hüsmen Ünlem in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Seco to strike the kick off in the second half. When Evaristo Machado fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galatasaray A.Ş.'s protests and gave Evaristo Machado a yellow card for diving instead. Evaristo Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 66 minutes into the match, Galatasaray A.Ş.'s goalkeeper Ingar Myklebust had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüsmen Ünlem in the 72nd minute of play. If Hüsmen Ünlem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Arturo Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Galatasaray A.Ş.'s Ingar Myklebust got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, one of Uruguay:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The long shot by Jaime Cazalla in the 87th minute really tested Ingar Myklebust's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüsmen Ünlem in the 92nd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Galatasaray A.Ş. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciccio Graziani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Seco charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Seco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Seco. When the final whistle sounded Uruguay left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Galatasaray A.Ş..
