Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Hüsmen Ünlem made the kick off and thus started the match. After 2 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Galatasaray A.Ş. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Aguilera didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüsmen Ünlem in the 6th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Galatasaray A.Ş.'s Hüsmen Ünlem fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ciccio Graziani was slow to take the kick. During this time Galatasaray A.Ş.'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Galatasaray A.Ş.'s corner Hüsmen Ünlem fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ingar Myklebust tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hasan Genişyürek scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ingar Myklebust showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 24th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingar Myklebust having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evaristo Machado. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüsmen Ünlem in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Hüsmen Ünlem recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Hüsmen Ünlem showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 39 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ingar Myklebust was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ingar Myklebust read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ingar Myklebust breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 58th minute of play forced Galatasaray A.Ş.'s goalkeeper Ingar Myklebust to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Galatasaray A.Ş. defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ingar Myklebust. The Galatasaray A.Ş. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ingar Myklebust should have stopped the shot. Hıncal Kongur hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüsmen Ünlem in the 63rd minute of play. Ingar Myklebust showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 65th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Ingar Myklebust made a huge save. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ingar Myklebust tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciccio Graziani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 73rd minute, Hıncal Kongur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingar Myklebust having to interfere.
