Jose Correa's late challenge caught a H2A BOLICHE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Fernando Prasse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 60th minute of play. After 61 minutes H2A BOLICHE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venezuela's attentive Jonathan Venegas managed to snatch the ball when Mathias Miranda made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. If Amadeu Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
