The audience thought a goal was coming when Vasiliy Kulakov got free with Faustão de Moraes in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Vasiliy Kulakov took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Faustão de Moraes to make any attempt to save it. Oscar Lara made in the 12th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Курск ФК's Vasiliy Kulakov. Faustão de Moraes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrey Denisov went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Oscar Lara made in the 15th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Hernani Palmeira. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrey Denisov in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faustão de Moraes saved Ciseski‘s from getting behind. Faustão de Moraes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vasiliy Kulakov in the 22nd minute. 22 minutes into the game, Vasiliy Kulakov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Faustão de Moraes. Vasiliy Kulakov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Andrey Denisov managed to get in a good position for a shot. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Roberto Romário made the kick off in the second half. Edmond Boureau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Frutos Mallo made a huge save. Oscar Lara made in the 54th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hernani Palmeira immediately put the ball in play. Oscar Lara made in the 57th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Hernani Palmeira however managed to control. Faustão de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrey Denisov, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Курск ФК fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ciseski‘s had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
